Sayrab’s Cloud Tech – A Game Changer for Manufacturers

Stepping into Pakistan’s industrial sector, Mohid Zahid found himself face-to-face with the tough realities of manufacturing, a world riddled with unreliable suppliers, miscommunication with international buyers, and an outdated, overly complex procurement system. These weren’t just minor hiccups; they were holding back local industries and keeping Pakistan from reaching its true potential on the global stage.

For Mohid, who grew up amidst the industrious energy of Pakistan’s Golden TriangleLahore, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad, this challenge wasn’t just professional, it was personal. These cities, the backbone of the nation’s manufacturing economy, held immense potential but lacked the connections needed to reach the global market.

In 2022, driven by a mission to reshape the manufacturing landscape, Mohid founded Sayrab. The name itself is a nod to their purpose; “Sayrab,” meaning “to irrigate” in Urdu, embodies the idea of nourishing growth and sustaining life. Just as water revitalizes barren land, Sayrab aims to invigorate Pakistan’s manufacturing industry, enabling it to thrive on a global stage.

At its core, Sayrab leverages the power of cloud manufacturing and advanced technology to simplify procurement. The startup acts as a digital bridge, directly linking local suppliers with manufacturers, streamlining operations, and ensuring that Pakistani products reach international markets.

But the journey was far from easy.

Launching a business in a competitive market is daunting, and Sayrab’s early days were no exception. There were moments of doubt, countless lessons, and a fair share of missteps. Yet, Mohid’s steadfast belief in his mission kept him going. He built a resilient team that shared his vision, and when the time came to expand their expertise, Sayrab welcomed a new co-founder. This new partnership infused the startup with innovative ideas and revitalized energy.

Amid these challenges, Mohid found an invaluable ally in the National Incubation Center, Faisalabad (NICF). NICF provided more than just a workspace, it became Sayrab’s launchpad. Through mentorship, access to industry expertise, and a network of like-minded entrepreneurs, Sayrab gained the guidance needed to navigate the complexities of the manufacturing sector.

“The NICF network has been extremely helpful,” Mohid reflects. “Collaborating with other entrepreneurs and experts allowed us to refine our approach and tackle challenges head-on.”

Today, Sayrab stands as a symbol of hope for Pakistan’s manufacturing sector. Its story is a testament to the power of thoughtful innovation and relentless perseverance. Mohid’s journey shows that with the right tools, the Golden Triangle’s industries can become globally competitive, positioning Pakistan as a formidable player on the international stage.

Sayrab is more than just a startup, it’s a movement. It represents a vision for a future where local manufacturers can dream bigger, compete more effectively, and thrive in the global market. And this is just the beginning.
